Behind the Lens at Austin's Premier Creative Conference
Last year, I had the distinct pleasure of being hired as a photographer at the SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas. But this wasn't your typical SXSW assignment – I was specifically brought on board to capture a single session, featuring a company's lineup of speakers.
Although my focus was on this exclusive event, I still had the chance to immerse myself in the rich atmosphere of SXSW, a global gathering of creatives and innovators across various industries. Founded in 1987, SXSW has become a hub for groundbreaking ideas, attracting a diverse mix of visionaries.
Working within the constraints of a specific session allowed me to hone in on the company's unique story while still experiencing the conference's energy. Documenting this specialized event amidst the broader SXSW landscape was a truly unforgettable adventure.
